The Syntax Workout app, developed by a certified speech and language pathologist, offers an engaging approach for preschool and elementary school-age children who face challenges with English grammar. This app serves as a valuable addition to the existing "Workouts" series from Virtual Speech Center, which includes Auditory Workout and Sentence Workout.

Utilizing a bowling theme, Syntax Workout incorporates a variety of syntax activities supported by an effective reward system. The interactive nature of the app features a bowling coach who motivates children as they progress through the exercises. Each correct response earns a bowling ball, and accumulating enough balls unlocks a mini-game, enhancing the overall learning experience.

With 1500 stimuli across multiple activities, Syntax Workout addresses essential grammatical constructs including:

 <li>3rd-person singular</li>
 <li>Do vs. Does</li>
 <li>Has vs. Had</li>
 <li>Is vs. Are</li>
 <li>Was vs. Were</li>
 <li>Subjective pronouns: I, you, he, she, etc. (organized into different sets)</li>
 <li>Objective pronouns: me, you, him, her, etc. (organized into different sets)</li>
 <li>Possessive pronouns: my, your, his, her, etc. (organized into different sets)</li>
 <li>Absolute possessive pronouns: mine, your, his, etc. (organized into different sets)</li>
 <li>Demonstrative pronouns: this, that, those, these (organized into different sets)</li>
</ul>

The app is designed for ease of navigation and includes various features such as:

 <li>Entering multiple students</li>
 <li>Changing settings</li>
 <li>Turning audio on or off</li>
 <li>Selecting auto-scoring</li>
 <li>Selecting alternate counts for multiple students</li>
 <li>Enabling or disabling rewards</li>
 <li>Enabling or disabling randomization</li>
 <li>Tracking correct and incorrect responses</li>
 <li>Emailing results at the end of the game</li>
</ul>

Overall, Syntax Workout appears to not only facilitate learning but also maintain a high level of engagement among young users.
